From Tbilisi: Dashbashi Canyon, Algeti lake, Diamond bridge

About this tour
1. Diamond Bridge (Dashbashi Glass Bridge) Location: Dashbashi Canyon, Tsalka Municipality, Kvemo Kartli region, Georgia Type: Glass Suspension Bridge Length: ~240 meters Height: ~280 meters above the canyon floor Description: The Diamond Bridge is one of the most unique and daring architectural landmarks in Georgia. Suspended over the breathtaking Dashbashi Canyon, this glass bridge combines cutting-edge design with natural beauty. Opened in 2022, it holds a Guinness World Record for the longest glass cantilever bridge. The bridge features a diamond-shaped glass platform at its center, which acts as a panoramic viewpoint — hence the name Diamond Bridge. The glass panels beneath your feet offer a heart-racing view straight down into the lush canyon below, with its waterfalls and steep cliffs. There’s also a glass café suspended in the middle of the bridge, giving visitors the surreal experience of sipping coffee while floating hundreds of meters in the air. 2. Dashbashi Canyon Location: Near the town of Tsalka, around 2 hours from Tbilisi Depth: ~300 meters Length: Several kilometers Part of: Khrami River Gorge Description: Dashbashi Canyon is a spectacular natural wonder carved into volcanic rock by the Khrami River. It’s known for its dramatic vertical cliffs, rich biodiversity, and beautiful waterfalls, including the famous “Weeping Wall” — a cascade of spring water flowing down moss-covered rocks. Visitors can hike along well-marked trails through the canyon, passing over wooden bridges, small rivers, and rocky outcrops. The walk is filled with photo-worthy scenery, especially in spring and early summer when the landscape is lush and green. The canyon is also home to several eco-tourism attractions, including the Diamond Bridge, zip lines, and cliffside cafes. It’s a perfect destination for adventurers, hikers, and nature lovers. 3. Algeti Lake (Algeti Reservoir) Location: Tetritskaro Municipality, Algeti National Park, Kvemo Kartli region Altitude: ~1,100 meters above sea level Type: Artificial Reservoir (created for water supply) Description: Algeti Lake — often referred to as the Algeti Reservoir — is a tranquil and scenic body of water nestled within the Algeti National Park. Surrounded by forested hills and mountain landscapes, it serves as both a water reservoir and a popular destination for weekend getaways from Tbilisi. While artificial, the lake blends harmoniously into its natural surroundings. It’s especially popular in the summer for picnics, camping, fishing, and boating. In autumn, the changing foliage adds a vibrant, colorful backdrop to the calm waters. "Sometimes due to weather conditions and rain, the canyon may be closed. Please note that this applies only to the canyon, not the glass bridge. We kindly ask you to check the weather before booking, and we appreciate your understanding."
